What Are Domain Names?
Domain names provide your business with a 'presence' on the Internet, and can both establish and protect your brand. Generally, you would create a domain name that is similar in form to your company name, or a specific product or service that your provide. So if your business is called Taro Ltd, then you might register the domain name taro.com.pg.

Registration
DNS Registration assures you of exclusive use of your domain name for a specific time - generally two years. Conveniently your registration will be automatically renewed every two years by OSP - so there's no danger of losing your domain name by forgetting to renew it!
We can register any of the common domain name types - not only the taro.com.pg format preferred by PNG businesses, but also taro.biz, taro.com, taro.info, taro.net.pg and many more.
Management
DNS Management (also called 'Delegation' or 'Maintenance') puts your registered domain name to work:
the specific details of your domain name - the 'zone file' - are entered into the OSP DNS Name Servers. This is a redundant array of three high availability servers, owned and operated by OSP in multiple data centres across PNG, Fiji and Australia.
