I-NET MOBILE MODEM FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: What speeds will be available to me as a customer?
A: Between 30-100kbps. The speed depends on your location and whether you are connected using EDGE/GPRS/3G (this is done automatically by the network).

Q. My computer does not recognize the USB modem?
A. Please contact the Online South Pacific Help Desk on 3200633.

Q: Where can I access the internet using my modem?
A: Wherever you can receive a Digicel GPRS reception. This means anywhere there is a Digicel signal

Q: Will my USB modem work on my desktop computer as well as my laptop?
A: Yes your USB modem will work on both your desktop and your laptop as long as it has a USB port.

Q: I can connect, but when I enter my timecode I cannot browse the Internet, What do I do?
A: If you think you have time remaining then please call the Online South Pacific Help Desk on 3200633.

Q: Can I use more than one USB modems at the same time?
A: No you are not able to do this.

Q: When is the best time to connect to the internet with my USB modem
A: You can connect to the internet at any time during the day.

Q: Do we allow you to POP emails using POP3?
A: Yes we do.

Q: Do we allow you to send emails using port 25 SMTP?
A: Yes. The SMTP server to use is mail.mobile.online.net.pg

Q: My timecode does not work who do I call?
A: Please call the Online South Pacific Help Desk on 3200633.

Q: My USB modem is not working what do I do?
A: There is a three month limited warranty. If you suspect your modem is faulty, please send it into our service center. Our service center is located at Ground Floor, AON Haus, Down Town, Port Moresby.
