1. What
is I-netFAX?
I-netFAX is a store and forward internet fax service, taking advantage
of the Internet technology and ultimately costing you less.
2. How does it work?
I-netFAX simply converts your fax to an email and sends it over the Internet.
Faxes can be sent anywhere in the world.
3. Do I need an international direct line?
No, You do not need an IDD line. All you need is a fax machine and an STD
telephone line.
4. Do I need to put in special hardware?
No, you can send faxes directly from your fax machine.
5. Do I need a computer?
No. You do not need to have a computer to run this service; only a fax machine
and an STD telephone connection are required.
6. Do I need to train people?
There is no special training required. There is no difference to the way you
are sending faxes now.
7. What is the guarantee that my message will reach
the destination?
With the I-netFAX system you will receive a report through e-mail within a few
minutes stating that the fax was delivered successfully to its destination.
This confirmation will be sent as an email to an email address nominated by
you.
8. What if the destination fax machine is
inaccessible?
If the destination fax machine is inaccessible, due to any reason, I-netFAX
will make six attempts to deliver the fax. This saves you the hassle of
standing at your fax machine, retrying the fax number.
9. How long will attempts be made before rejecting a
fax as non-deliverable?
Depending on the error code generated from the destination fax machine, the
I-netFAX server retries for 6 minutes.
10. Is this messaging system secure?
Yes. This messaging system is secure and your faxes are sent in an
encrypted fashion (128bit encryption). This is commercial grade encryption.
11. Do we pay at the end of each month?
No, I-netFAX is a prepaid system. You must make a payment in advance. Your
balance with us will keep on decreasing as you send more and more faxes. You
will have to maintain a minimum balance with us. You will be billed
automatically by our system. You can check your itemized account through our
user-friendly web interface.
The web interface will show you:
How many faxes you sent.
Where they were sent to.
How much it is costing you.
12.Will we be informed when we are running out of
money in our account?
Yes, you will also receive an email when there is 15% of your balance
remaining. E.g..If you deposit K100, you get an email after you have spent K85.
13. How can I keep track of our daily service
usage and our amount remaining?
When opening the I-netFAX account you will receive your secret Pin code and
password for checking your account through the I-netFAX site.
